Flower Miracle Matte Finishing Powder Review

I’ve been looking for a good drugstore loose powder and decided to try Flower Beauty Miracle Matte Finishing Powder after it won the Allure Best of Beauty Award in 2016.  After using this powder for several weeks, I must say I am pleasantly surprised with the results!  Here we go…

Flower Miracle Matte Finishing Power Review..

This Powder is super fine and completely colorless.  This is great because it doesn’t change the color of your makeup when applied as the last step!  Flower Beauty Miracle Matte Finishing Powder is weightless and does not settle into fine lines or pores.   You won’t look dry or cakey wearing this powder and if you have oily spots, it does a good job of absorbing oil and mattifying any shine.  Overall, I think this powder would work well on all skin types.

The powder delivers an optical blurring effect to the skin without covering it up & provides a flawless finish.  My personal experience has been that the finish lasts around 5-6 hours.  You can reapply the powder to reset as needed without any worries of buildup or looking too cakey.  My only complaint with Flower Beauty’s Miracle Matte Powder is the design of the packaging.  The lid requires some maneuvering to get off.  Sometimes there is a big “poof” of powder that comes out when you do remove the lid.  Also, a little of this powder goes a long way, you don’t need very much.  Just put a little in the lid, swirl your brush around, tap off the excess and apply.

The bottom line is that this Powder is pretty darn good for the price.  It’s really affordable and will last a long time.  I think it’s a good alternative to some higher end favorites like Laura Mercier Invisible Loose Setting Powder and Makeup Forever HD Microfinish Powder.
