Chances are your Grandmother or Mother has used Pond’s Cold Cream Cleanser.  And you may have used it yourself! Pond’s Cold Cream Cleanser is truly a Drugstore Beauty Classic & one heck of a good bargain at under $5.00 for a 6 oz jar and under $10 for a 9.5 oz jar!  If the thought of cold cream sounds really old-fashioned & vintage to you, it may be worth another look!  This cult classic in a jar is not only a facial cleanser to remove dirt, grime & makeup, it’s a multi-tasker with uses you’ve probably never thought of!

Pond’s Cold Cream Cleanser was invented in 1846 by a Pharmacist named Theron T. Pond.  Think about it… that was 170 years ago!! Now THAT is standing the “test of time” for real!  Cold Cream Cleanser is a combination of water and certain fats designed to remove makeup & smooth skin.  The key ingredients in Pond’s Cold Cream Cleanser are Mineral Oil & Beeswax and the cleanser is actually 50% moisturizer.  To clean your face with it, you simply take two fingers and scoop some out of the jar & apply to your face.  You can even remove eye makeup with it!  Remove it with a warm washcloth if you have normal to oily skin or with cotton rounds if your skin is dry.
