If I had a sack of the money I’ve spent over the years on concealers … well let’s just say… I’d be somewhere on a beach right now. As I’ve gotten older, finding the best concealer has become even more of a challenge. Is it going to settle into fine lines & wrinkles or appear to cakey? If you haven’t reached “that” age yet, well, you’ve got something to look forward to! Fortunately, I have had some luck in finding a few really good concealers that are perfect for mature skin and surprisingly, many of them are from the drugstore.
So What is the Best Concealer for Mature Skin from the Drugstore?

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer
This is one of the best concealers for mature skin. If you’ve got dark circles, under eye bags, fine lines or want to look less tired, Maybelline’s Instant Age Rewind Concealer has you covered! It does a good job of brightening the under eye area and doesn’t settle into fine lines or wrinkles. Covers well and lasts all day. You can use it in other areas on your face where you want a brightening effect such as around the nose or under/over the brows. The sponge applicator on Instant Age Rewind Concealer makes application and blending a dream! Comes in 4 shades, Fair, Light, Medium & Honey. They also have a neutralizer and brightener.
Revlon Photoready Concealer
Photoready Concealer is another good multitasker. This concealer has a beautiful creamy texture that blends easily and covers well. Doesn’t settle into fine lines and wrinkles. I did find that I needed a “touch up” mid-day. Overall, this is a good concealer for the price. Comes in 6 shades, Fair, Light, Light/Medium, Medium, Medium/Deep & Deep.

Covergirl Clean Fresh Hydrating Concealer
This hydrating concealer is part of Covergirl’s new Clean Fresh line of clean beauty products. Its lightweight vegan formula is infused with coconut oil and is made without any toxic ingredients like phthalates, mineral oil, formaldehyde talk or parabens. Clean Fresh Hydrating Concealer feels very comfortable on the skin and does a good job of brightening the under eye area and covering any flaws or dark circles.
e.l.f. Cosmetics Hydrating Camo Concealer
Hydrating Camo Concealer may be one of the best beauty steals ever. At just $6.00 USD, this concealer can hold it’s own with many luxury brands that carry a much higher price tag. This liquid concealer provides full coverage and doesn’t crease or settle into fine lines. It covers imperfections, and dark circles and is great for all skin types. I found this concealer to last an impressive 8-9 hours with no touch-ups needed making this one of the best under eye concealers for mature skin. e.l.f. is 100% vegan and cruelty-free.
